Fans of the series are in love with the end result. It’s a refreshing take on a main character, especially one that is cosplayed so often. And the detail and accuracy of the design is incredibly well done. With how popular her finished cosplay is, it would be interesting to see if she could pull off another, lesser known Witcher 3 character cosplay, such as Syanna or Shani.
With The Witcher 3 set to receive a next-gen upgrade sometime in the future, fans are speculating the future of Ciri in the Witcher series. Though CDPR has confirmed that their fantasy world will live on, they have not discussed whether they are developing a sequel, prequel, or something entirely different. The next title in the series may not be in the same timeline at all, completely abandoning Geralt’s story. Regardless of where the next game takes place, considering her overwhelming popularity with fans, it will be difficult to find a suitable replacement character for Ciri.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions currently in development.
