Thor: Love and Thunder, Marvel’s most recent theatrical movie, will be available on the Disney Plus streaming service on September 8th. Thor isn’t the only new entertainment coming to Disney Plus on September 8th, which has been designated as “Disney Plus Day.” There will also be new shorts, behind-the-scenes segments, and TV episodes. Another major addition is a live-action Pinocchio adaption directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Tom Hanks and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Only 16 days, 18 hours, and 59 minutes until September 8, but who’s counting? (It’s us, we are.) 🥳➕

As part of Disney Plus Day last year, Disney offered discounts on memberships to its streaming service as well as other promotions. As one of my former coworkers called it, the “fake holiday” will be promptly followed by Disney’s D23 expo, which begins on September 9th. There, Disney will most likely display teases and announcements from its theme parks, as well as information about impending Marvel and Star Wars initiatives.
