For a few years now, short video-based multimedia platforms have exploded in popularity. As of today, TikTok is one of the most popular short video services in the world.
The short video-based platform trend started several years ago with Vine. Later, multiple social and multimedia services created their own section for this type of content.
For instance, there is Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and even the discontinued Twitter Fleets. However, TikTok remains at the top of the rankings, and with a constantly growing popularity.
That said, currently many TikTok users are facing issues with the service as the ‘Following page’ is suddenly not showing or disappeared (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12). However, there is a potential solution.
TikTok Following page not showing or disappeared
Dozens of reports related to the issue are flooding social platforms such as Twitter and Reddit (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8). For a while now, many TikTok users are unable to see the ‘Following page’ in the app’s UI.
As its name suggests, the Following page shows a list of the TikTok accounts you are following.

At the moment, there is no official acknowledgment on the issue from the TikTok team. However, some users point out that a complete uninstall and reinstall of the app helped to resolve it.

Update 1 (April 16)
12:26 pm (IST): TikTok has received a new update on iOS identified with version 24.0.0. However, it does not mention any fix or improvements for the Following page issue.
