Tom Hanks First Look As Geppetto In Pinocchio Is Out

Tom Hanks is an American actor, famous for his comic and dramatic roles. He has worked in great award-winning movies like “Forrest Gump”. Disney has been doing live-action versions of their animated classics all over the place, like “Cinderella,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Aladdin” with some stories going beyond the original material like “Maleficent” and “Cruella.” And now is the turn of Pinocchio. Disney first released their animated film “Pinocchio” in 1940, and it was based on the book “The Adventures of Pinocchio” (1883) by Italian writer Carlo Collodi. Pinocchio follows the story of Geppetto, a kind, but lonely wood-carver who builds a puppet named Pinocchio and raises him as if he were a real child. The puppet, Pinocchio, longs to be a “real boy” and goes on an adventure in the hopes of making that dream come true.
