Anjaana Anjaani

Anjaana Anjaani is a romantic comedy drama film directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, released in 2010. The film stars Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor as two suicidal strangers who meet and make a pact to commit suicide in twenty days on New Year’s Eve. Reviewers praised the lead performances, music and cinematography, but were critical of the film’s screenplay and pace. Made on a production and marketing budget of ₹380 million, Anjaana Anjaani, grossed ₹685 million making it a box office success. Rockstar is a musical romantic drama film written and directed by Imtiaz Ali, released in 2011.Made on a budget of ₹410 million (US$5.4 million), Rockstar grossed ₹1.08 billion (US$14 million) worldwide. Ranbir Kapoor and AR Rahman received numerous awards for their work in the film.
