He explained that the EU gets 40% of its gas and a quarter of its oil from Russia and that is why they couldn’t join hands with the U.S. This gives Russia an advantage and uses it to threaten Europe by cutting the gas supply.

But it’s a two-way street, he continued ” Sure Europe needs Russian oil, but Russia needs Europe money. I mean what else do they have to offer? It’s not like they are going to fund a War by selling cabbage soup.”

He added, ” So both the sides of the relationships are in a game of chicken and nobody knows who’s going to give” and told that both The U.Sand EU shouldn’t be here in the first place and Putin had shown a spotlight on this dependency of fossil fuels. He also talked about using Renewable ” If countries want to move to Renewable energy of safe nuclear power, they can no longer afford to make that like item number 1o on the agenda”. Finally, he concluded by saying, ” Because not only will the planet suffer, but you’ll find yourself constantly having to make deals with the devil.”
