Users have the option to watch content from their favorite streamer or explore new ones. In February last year, the platform had more than 9 million streamers and 26 million daily active users.
That said, users have been facing various issues such as the chat disconnecting or freezing on mobile and app crashing on Fire TV, Xbox, and the PlayStation in the last few months.
And now, many Twitch users say the ‘First time chatter’ message highlight is not appearing (1,2,3,4,5).
This is really useful for both big and small streamers alike since they are able to see and engage with new people. Many are wondering if Twitch developers removed the feature without notice.
Some have already tried resetting their password, clearing cache and reinstalling the app but it didn’t help either. Here are some reports from Twitch users for whom the ‘First time chatter’ message highlight is not appearing.
Thankfully, Twitch Support commented on the matter and said the developers are working on a fix for the ‘First time chatter’ message highlight not appearing bug. But there is no ETA on when it will be fixed.
When the issue is resolved, we will be updating this article to let you know so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
