According to Asmongold, New World’s PvP is boring because players just stand in front of each other and repeatedly click to attack. The popular Twitch streamer was also quick to point out the questionable net coding in New World that led to server malfunctions and countless disconnects among the player base. This even led to several frustrated streamers who had waited for the New World beta.

Asmongold spoke very candidly, saying “the mob variety is pathetic, and their solution to that is to reskin certain mobs and make them look different. Well, it’s just the same NPC, it does the same exact things.”

While Asmongold is used to World of Warcraft where there’s loads of enemy variety, he thinks too many mobs in New World look the same. Most players are also able to defeat the same enemies, while Asmongold is looking for enemies that require practice to defeat. According to the popular Twitch streamer, the enemies don’t provide this crucial combat challenge.

New World is releasing for PC on September 28.
