Here’s the crux of the article in video form

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on November 10, 2022) follows:

Twitter is undoubtedly a hot topic nowadays primarily because of its recent startling developments including layoffs, too many advertisements, and Twitter Blue verification that came with Elon Musk acquisition.

Talking about the company’s subscription plan, users will now see fewer ads, have priority in replies mentions, and more.

But it’s not as uncomplicated as it sounds because its $7.99/month pricing scheme has confused many as some could even subscribe to the service for $4.99/month.

Needless to say, all of the uncertainty surrounding the social media platform prompted many people to turn to other apps and services like Mastodon and Tumblr.

Twitter Blue ‘not available in your country’

And now, it seems that some users are complaining about the unavailability of Twitter Blue in their respective countries.

Even those who are interested in the feature are unable to get the subscription and receive a ‘Thanks for your interest! Twitter Blue will be available in your country in the future’ error.

It seems that the issue where Twitter Blue is still not working is prevalent in many countries including the US, Canada, Australia, UK, and even New Zealand.

This is quite alarming as it was specifically verified by Twitter officials that the blue checkmarks will be made available in the said countries.

It should be noted that Elon Musk recently confirmed the imminent availability of Twitter Blue in India.

So, this could potentially mean that the feature will be out for everyone later this month.

Possible explanation

For now, there appears to be two reasons why Twitter Blue is not working or is unavailable for some users.

Firstly, the feature is currently limited to iOS and those on other platforms will have to wait for the availability of the same.

Another probable explanation points to the fact that certain features are rolled out in phases which explains the unavailability of the feature.

It’s still not clear when Twitter Blue will be made accessible with a degree of certainty but it seems like it’s happening soon.

That said, we’ll keep tabs on further developments and update the article accordingly.
