Ever since it was founded in 2006, Twitter has been making news for all sorts of reasons.

With over 330 million monthly active users and around 500 million tweets shared every day, the company generated more than $5 billion in revenue last year.

However, the last few months have been really troublesome for Twitter users, with issues like persistent notification alerts on iOS and some seeing the same tweets in their feed even after refreshing frustrating many.

And as if this wasn’t enough, many Twitter users are facing an issue where they see tweets from blocked or muted accounts in their feed (1,2,3,4,5).

Some initially thought it was a visual bug and tried logging out of their accounts and back but to no avail.

Unfortunately, we were not able to find any workaround for the problem.

That said, Twitter Support commented on the matter and said the developers are aware of the issue where some users are seeing tweets from blocked or muted accounts on their feed.

But they did not share any timeframe on when the glitch will be resolved. We hope the developers find out the root cause of the problem and fix it as soon as they can.
