Twitter is undeniably one of the largest micro-blogging platforms. And every year, the social media platform seems to be growing in terms of popularity and user base.
Having said that, Twitter recently updated its search page user interface and now includes a ‘For You’ and ‘Trending’ tab.
While the new UI is not available to everyone as of now, those who were able to experience it said they were angry with Twitter since it was forced on them. Many are even looking for ways to revert to the old version.
All in all, Twitter users seem to be disliking the new changes since the ‘For You’ section now looks like TikTok and Instagram.
And now, users are saying that the ‘For You’ and ‘Trending’ tabs never shows content (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) that caters to their interests. Some say that they are seeing completely random content, making it completely useless.
It looks like Twitter is showing content with keywords users have muted or marked as ‘not interested in this’, which is really infuriating.
It looks like the Twitter algorithm is not connecting to the users and their interests if we take a look at the ‘For You’ and ‘Trending’ sections.
We hope Twitter makes some changes to their AI so users can see what they are interested in.
