Twitter down this afternoon, with users reporting they had been logged out and unable to use the site. Following these technical problems the official Twitter Support account posted: “We’ve fixed a technical bug that was preventing timelines from loading and Tweets from posting. Things should be back to normal now. Sorry for the interruption.”

At the time of writing Down Detetcor UK has registered a peak of over 14,000 Twitter down reviews while downdetector.com has seen a excessive of nearly 35,000 Twitter down reports.
