Twitter has always maintained a strong stance regarding the sort of content its users are allowed to share on the micro-blogging platform.

However, back in April during the Russia-Ukraine war, a lot of sensitive images were being shared on the platform.

So, in order to tackle this issue, they introduced a feature that allows you to tag photos as ‘sensitive content’, hiding it behind a warning about the image’s content.

Twitter tagging normal tweets and photos as sensitive content

Now, many users are facing an issue where Twitter is tagging many normal tweets and photos as ‘sensitive content’ (1,2,3,4).

No acknowledgment yet

As of now, Twitter developers are yet to acknowledge the issue where the platform keeps tagging normal tweets and photos as sensitive content.

Fortunately, we came across a workaround that might help you resolve the issue until the official fix arrives.

We hope Twitter fixes the bug as soon as possible. Until then, we will be keeping an eye out on the matter and update this space as and when we come across more information.
