One Piece is one of the most beloved and well-recognized manga series of all time. A live–action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s beloved Manga is all set to sail on Netflix this 2023. On Monday evening that is on January 30, 2023, Netflix revealed two looks of the series on their social media platforms and also on their official site.

Netflix has officially announced a ten-episode order for a One Piece live-action series. The new series is a further move by Netflix to court manga and anime fans.

One Piece was first announced in January 2020  officially by Netflix. The series is produced by Tomorrow Studios. According to What’s on Netflix Marc Jobst is directing the first and second episodes of One Piece and most of the filming is taking place at Cape Town Film Studios. Steven Maeda will be the showrunner for One Piece. Also on 3 September 2021, Netflix unveiled the script for the first episode titled “Romance Dawn” which is written by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda.

Though no official release date is announced for the series after the reveal of these new looks by Netflix from the series, viewers at least got the confirmation that the series will be released in 2023.
