Launched in November of 2020, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is one of those games that has managed to stay in the spotlight for all sorts of reasons.
In its first week after release, the game managed to sell more copies compared to other titles and soon became the highest-earning game in the franchise.
Unsurprisingly, the addition of new content and frequent updates to the game introduced several bugs such as players unable to complete the ‘Milk of Humankind’ quest or many not receiving Jorun armor.
Unfortunately, it looks like the recently released Dawn of Ragnarok DLC is no exception with Valhalla players now saying they are unable to complete the Cold Embers quest.
While some say they are unable to leave the arena due to invisible walls, others say the quest is not progressing because they killed Calder, which causes the ritual to never start. Another report suggests some are stuck in the investigation.
Common solutions such as unfollowing other quests, restarting system and verifying game files do not seem to make any difference. Here are some reports from Valhalla players who are unable to complete the Cold Embers quest.
Fortunately, Ubisoft Support Staff commented on the matter and said Valhalla developers are aware that the Cold Embers quest is bugged. But they did not share any ETA on when it will be fixed.
We hope Valhalla developers soon fix the bugged Cold Embers quest since it is impossible for players to progress in the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC. Until then, we will be keeping an eye out for more information so stay tuned for updates.
