Ubisoft is one of the largest gaming studios in the world. With thousands of people on board, the company produces several titles every year.

In 2020, Ubisoft had a successful year with games like Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and Immortal Fenyx Rising.

Having said that, both games support quick resume. It allows players to quickly switch between games without losing their progress and resume from where they left off.

But lately, players are reporting an issue with the quick resume function on Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and Immortal Fenyx Rising.

According to user reports, whenever they try to quick resume these games, an error pops up saying that the game cannot save progress.

And the reports aren’t new either. People have complained about the issue for months now, but it feels like Ubisoft is playing blind and not paying any attention to the bug.

The worst part is that players have lost hours of progress because of the bug. The issue seems to be persistent ever since the launch of the consoles last year.

Players say that the game cannot connect to Ubisoft servers when they try to resume. Fortunately, after months, Ubisoft has finally acknowledged the issue and said that it is under investigation.

However, the company did not share any ETA on when it will be fixed.

We hope Ubisoft is able to find out the root cause of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Immortal Fenyx Rising quick resume issue and release a fix in the coming days.

Whenever they do, we will update this post so make sure to keep a close watch on this space.
