Original story (published on August 02, 2021) follows:
The latest installment in the world of Assassin’s Creed is Valhalla. Released in 2020, it’s an action role-playing video game that was published by Ubisoft.
Set between the years 872-878 AD, it dives into a fictional story that takes place when the Vikings are expanding in the British Isles.
While AC Valhalla was received positively by players and critiques alike, the game has been infested with various bugs and issues ever since its release.
The latest bug that’s making players go bonkers is the Egghead challenge issue.
If you are unfamiliar with the event, the Egghead Community Challenge rewards players with the Einherjar Bow if they kill a certain amount of enemies with headshots.
Ever since the start of the challenge, players have been complaining that they are unable to complete the challenge and claim the reward even if they headshot enough enemies. Players also say their headshots are not being counted in the Community challenge.
Since it is a time-limited challenge, players have been asking Ubisoft to fix the Egghead Challenge bug as soon as possible.
Fortunately, Ubisoft has acknowledged the bug and said that they are working on a fix. However, the company did not share any ETA.
In case the company is unable to fix the bug before the challenge expires, we think it would be fair to compensate all players with the Einherjar Bow.
