Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest son Aryan Khan was arrested by the Central Investigation agency after Norcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai on October 2. He was arrested along with Arbaaz Seth Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha and others on October 3.

Aryan Khan appealed for a bail plea several times but it was getting rejected by the High Court. He was finally granted bail on October 28 by Bombay High Court. Along with him, accused Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were also granted bail. The jail officials has confirmed their bail after receiving the bail orders at 5:30 AM from bail box outside the Jail. The trio is expected to be released from jail today after spending 26 days in police custody.

Actor Juhi Chawla appeared before the special NDPS court along with Aryan’s counsel, advocate Satish Maneshinde, as surety for Aryan. She signed a bail bond worth Rs 1 lakh. No sureties were presented for Merchant and Dhamecha.Dhamecha’s counsel, Kashif Ali Khan Deshmukh, said on Friday that they will approach the Bombay high court again. ”We are moving for cash bail as Munmun is not a resident of Mumbai and facing problems with surety for her release,” he said. But shortly after, the other two were also granted bail.

The High Court on Friday issued a five-page bail order and listed 14 bail conditions according to which the accused have to surrender their passports before the Special NDPS court so as to make sure they do not leave India. They also have to reach the NCB office every Friday between 11 am to 2 pm. The court order also bans them from indulging in activities similar to those, regarding which cases have been registered against them.

Unconfirmed reports have suggested that Shah Rukh Khan will not reach the jail premises and wait at Four Seasons Hotel to meet his son and take him home. Mannat in Bandra is supposed to be decorated to welcome Aryan Khan. It will be a moment of happiness for fans.
