New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on November 03, 2021) follows:
For years, Google has been comfortably sitting at the top when it comes to the search engine niche. The Mountain View-based company virtually has no competitor and dominates with Google.com being the most visited website on the internet.
The service handles billions of user requests every day with 40,000 search queries every second with more than one billion users making use of the company’s products and services.
While users rarely encounter issues with the service, sometimes bugs and issues do pop up. Having said that, some Google search users recently reported that they were getting error 500.
Those affected said they have tried clearing the cache, erased their history, and tried logging in again but nothing seems to help fix the error.
It is really frustrating for a lot of users since they are unable to use Google search. The issue seems to be affecting users randomly with the root cause still unknown.
Fortunately, it looks like a Diamond Product Expert on the Google Community forum said he has escalated the issue to the Google Search Team for investigation.

Moreover, some are also saying that the Google Search app on Android is not working and is stuck on a blank screen. It is preventing users from using the Google search feature. It is not known if the issue is related to error 500 in any shape or form.
We hope the Google Search Team finds a fix for error 500 as soon as possible since it is preventing many from using Google. Whenever they do, we will update this space with new information so stay tuned.
