Bollywood celebrities are being under the trap of Covid 19. Every day some or the other celebrity is tested positive and is suffering from a deadly virus. Today, Varun Dhawan on his Instagram shares his concern on the rising covid cases in Mumbai. He says, in his story, “If you are from Mumbai and your friends are not positive, then you don’t have friends!!!”
Mumbai’s Mayor Kishori Pednekar told NDTV today Mumbai continues to see an upsurge and believed to be moved by the new Omicron variant.
Cases in Mumbai are increasing four times faster than before, the top official added. But most cases have been asymptomatic. Mayor Kishori Pednekar said lockdown will have to be imposed in Mumbai if daily Covid cases cross the 20,000-mark. Maharashtra has reported highest cases of Omicron cases at 568 in the last 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare data.
She further told that all the schools in the city have been closed due to spike in COVID-19 cases and students are taking online classes.
These last few weeks have been terrible for the Hindi film industry with postponing of films and getting ill by the virus.
