Enable snap window
Though this feature is on by default, you can check it once again if it is enabled/disabled.
Step 1 – Press the start button on the keyboard or press the Windows icon on the toolbar.
Step 2 – Search by typing snap settings, and open it.
Step 3 – Make sure the snap window option is toggle on.

How to use snap window
Once the option is switched on now you can split the applications into 6 different layouts
- Two, 50/50 split
- Two, 70/30 split
- Three windows into thirds
- Three, 50/25/25 split
- Four windows into quarters
- Three, 25/50/25 split
To use it, hover over the window’s maximise button on any application to find out split-screen options (There might be only 4 options depending on the version of Windows and screen size) or simply press Win+Z to pop open the option.
