NATO(North Atlantic Treaty Organization0n) whose sole aim is to guarantee the freedom and security of its members through political and military ones. In NATO earlier, there was an alliance to put an effort by the US and its European allies to put off any expansion by the Soviet Union(USSR). Now, the NATO’s members wants that they should be cautious because there is a possibilty of danger and problems if Ukraine joining their ranks while on the other hand they have a tension with Moscow which remains high. This move could also draw them into a direct conflict with Russia in the event that it launches an attack because of the defence principle.

 

President of Russia Putin, announced on social media platform that on February16, 2022 they will attack on Ukraine. But they didn’t take a step to it. So, what is Russia upto?
