On July 18, the official Instagram account of Sweet Magnolias writers’ room shared that principal photography had officially started on Sweet Magnolias season 3.
According to Netflixlife.com, although the confirmed production wrap date is yet to be announced, we’re probably looking at about three months of production. This is how long it took the second season to be filmed. Since in July, the production on the third season started, three months later would put the wrap date sometime in October.
After the wrap, it is expected that it can take six to seven months of post-production before the third season lands on Netflix.
If production is estimated to be wrapped in October, six to seven months later, the release date will arrive sometime in April or May 2023.
For the moment, nothing has been confirmed, So there are chances to see Sweet Magnolias season 3 earlier or later than the predictions for the release.
The show is about lifelong friends lifting each other up as they juggle relationships, family, and careers in the small Southern town of Serenity.
It is based on Sweet Magnolias books by Sherryl Woods.
