For the past several weeks, players on PS5 and PS4 were able to catch a glimpse of Resident Evil Village after Capcom released two limited-time demos. Luckily for fans without a PlayStation console, Capcom will release both Resident Evil Village’s Castle and Village Demos on all platforms on May 1 for North American players and May 2 in Europe.

However, despite the latest demos being temporarily exclusive on PlayStation consoles, it appears that the consensus of most players is that many are looking forward to the release of Resident Evil Village. Currently, players can preorder Resident Evil Village, which is available in three different editions. The Standard Edition of the game is currently priced at $59.99, but for players wondering if there are any deals available right now, one platform offers Resident Evil Village at a lower price.

Resident Evil Village (PC) - $48.99

Luckily for players on the PC, online digital retailer CDKeys offers the standard version of Resident Evil Village for $49.99, or 18% off its current price of $59.99. It appears that CDKeys price is currently the cheapest available out there, so players getting Resident Evil Village on PC shouldn’t let this deal pass. Unfortunately, it appears that other platforms are not offering any deal for the pre-order of Resident Evil Village, which means PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S players can only get it at full price.

Resident Evil Village Deluxe Edition (PC) - $55.99

Additionally, Resident Evil Village’s Deluxe Edition is also discounted at CDKeys. On other platforms, the Deluxe Edition is priced at $69.99, but CDKeys is offering it at $55.99 or 20% off the original price. It is worth noting that CDKeys’ offer on the Deluxe Edition is even cheaper than the list price of Resident Evil Village’s Standard Edition. For the uninitiated, Resident Evil Village Deluxe Edition includes the Trauma Pack, Mr. Raccoon Weapon Charm, Survival Resources Pack, and Resident Evil Village Mini Soundtrack.

Meanwhile, Capcom has just launched the Castle Demo of Resident Evil Village for PS4 and PS5 players. It is worth noting that the demo will only be available for a limited amount of time, given that Capcom will be officially launching both the Village and Castle demos on all platforms on May 1. During the release of Resident Evil Village’s demos on the PS4 and PS5, many noticed the significant difference between the two consoles.

In a video posted by YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits, it was highlighted how the PS5’s faster SSD drive could load the demo in mere 3 seconds instead of the 30 seconds it took the PS4 and even the PS4 Pro. Additionally, the visuals of the demo were also greatly enhanced on the PS5 thanks to its ray-tracing abilities that reflected the demo’s environment with realistic lighting. Several of the PS5’s high-end features such as haptic feedback, 3D audio, and adaptive triggers were well-integrated in the game, heightening Resident Evil Village’s horror factor and overall experience.

Resident Evil Village is set to release on May 7, 2021, for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
