We all know that there are seven people made up of the well-known rock group Linkin Park, and now fans are wondering if they are still together. In 2017, the band encountered a heartbreaking circumstance. Agoura Hills, California, is a well-known rock group. The current lineup of this band consists of drummer Rob Bourdon, bassist Dave Farrell, lead guitarist Brad Delson, DJ/turntablist Joe Hahn, and guitarist/keyboardist Mike Shinoda.
They are the original members. Former members of the band include Mark Wakefield and Chester Bennington. Linkin Park is categorized as an alternative rock band, and their latter music contains more electronic and pop elements than their previous music, which blended heavy metal with hip hop.
Following the tragic passing of the band’s vocalist, Chester Bennington, Linkin Park went on sabbatical. But between Bennington’s passing (2017) and 2020, the band went on hiatus before starting up again.
From 1999 through 2017, Chester served as Linkin Park’s lead vocalist. Throughout his career, he appeared on all of Linkin Park’s studio albums. The band Linkin Park took a break when Chester committed suicide in July 2017. Mike disclosed in April 2022 that the band has no immediate plans to release any new music or go on tour.
Linkin Park won’t change. However, according to Mike Shinoda, Linkin Park has no intentions to release any additional songs, live performances, or albums. On April 22, during Mike’s most recent Twitch live stream, he discussed Linkin Park’s upcoming intentions. He disclosed that Linkin Park has no upcoming plans at this time.
According to Mike, the band doesn’t have any brand-new songs or albums. The only Linkin Park news Mike had to share with us was the fact that they talk once every couple of weeks. There are no upcoming tours, albums, or musical projects.
Mike advised Linkin Park fans not to have any expectations right now because waiting for new music would let them down. Mike made it quite plain that he would say no more at this time. Everyone attempts to start the hype train whenever the band says or does something, and they say things like “Don’t start the hype train.” The band does not currently have any plans. Let’s wait and see what develops later.
Linkin Park hadn’t performed live as a group since the remaining members paid tribute to the late singer Chester Bennington in Los Angeles in October 2017. The band currently has no plans. Linkin Park was founded in 1996, and their debut studio album, “Hybrid Theory,” was certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America, propelling it to global recognition. The group is one of the top-selling brands of this century and one of the best-known musicians in the world.
