Shark Tank India is a business and investment-based reality show based on an American TV show from the same name. It features budding ideas and startups. If convinced by the entrepreneurs, the judges of the show, also known as Sharks, invest in their startups. It has been streaming on SonyTV since December 20, 2021.

In today’s episode, the first pitch is by AyuRythm, the founder of AyuRythm is Sandeep Acharya, Abhilesh Gupta and Ramanabhan. It is the world’s first completely digital solution for personalized holistic wellness based on Ayurvedic principles. Our solution works on any smartphone. AyuRythm’s patent-pending technology and approval from leading Ayurvedic doctors make our solution a one-stop for all wellness needs. It assesses the user’s ideal and current body type based on a one-time response to 30 questions followed by a daily 30-second pulse diagnostic test using your mobile phone camera. Based on the tests, the application makes personalized recommendations on ideal yoga, pranayama, food, spa and herbal. The solution comes integrated with a marketplace where users have a choice to purchase products and services to further their wellness goals. But will their wellness impressed the “Sharks”?

The next pitch is by Sabjikothi, Nikky Kumar Jha and Rashmi Jha are the founders of Sabjikothi. It helps in preservation/Sabjikothi is a wheel mountable storage for the transportation of fresh fruits and vegetables. It is a microclimate portable storage that extends the shelf-life of fruits and vegetables anywhere between 5 to 30 days. It requires 20 watts of power and 1 litre of water and has a battery backup of a day and an option of solar charging. The entire setup can be unloaded from wheels, and can doubly act as on-field & on-market storage. The entire setup can be assembled on any suitable means of transportation (E-rickshaw, mini-trucks, thelas etc.) It can transport contamination-free fruits and vegetables from field to market without any water loss and decay.

The third pitch is by Astrix Engineering Products (P)Ltd, founder of this company is Kowshil Subramanian and Sreepriya Kowshik is formed in March 2018 at Coimbatore to manufacture “Smart Door Locks” to cater for the market in India and abroad. The smart locks are operated through mobile phones and many features in the lock are built in India for the first time. But will their lock can lock their investments?

The last pitch is by Scrapshala the founder of this company are Sikha Shah and Madh Shah, it started in 2016 with a service and product line that could solve the problem of overconsumption and help in the minimization of waste being sent to landfills. We interlink art, creativity and waste into sustainable functional products handcrafted by local Indian artisans. Scrapshala products are eco friendly, functional and aesthetic. The raw material used is sourced ethically. They are designed and handcrafted in a sustainable manner by local artisans in and around Varanasi. Every product is inspired by India’ rich culture and carries the struggle of an underprivileged Indian artisan, but will mother-daughter will able to get the deal? For that, we have to wait for tonight’s episode.
