In a recent incident a customer has dialed 911 while ordering food. Yes, no matter how bizzare it sounds this has literally happened in one of the Burger Kind drive-thru.

The customer ordered a Western Barbecue Burger at the drive-thru but her food was taking time to deliver. Instead of reporting it to the company’s feedback department, the customer dialled 911 and spoke to an officer.

The officer on call said, ” Madam, We’re not going to go down there and enforce your Western Bacon Cheeseburger.”

How unexpected the incident might seem the employees at the Burger King rather insisted the officers arrive and do the needful tasks.

The incident has raised a new question on the previously accepted notion that ‘the customer is always right.’

The incident hasn’t occurred once but twice. This time a customer at the drive-thru was upset because there was a delay in delivering a lemonade because the restaurant suddenly ran out of it. Instead of waiting, the customer called 911.

The 911 officer asked him whether he has paid for the lemonade or not to which the customer replied “No.” So, the officer suggested him to drive away. But the customer insisted that he is hungry.

Burger King has created an ad for shaming these customers for wasting time on the nation’s most important help line.
